A visit to David's Kitchen is a very special experience. Greeted by name when we got to the door, we were welcomed to a beautiful environment with white tablecloths, flowers, and pianist playing Beethoven. We chose western style entrees. Bruce had the New Zealand lamb shank. I had veal osso bucco. The pumpkin soup was outstanding. The best part was the attention of our host, David, who is warm , funny, and charming.
We have been to Chiang Mai several times and are always looking for new dining experiences. Though a drive from the main hub of CM the drive was well worth it. Every aspect of the meal was very satisfying enhanced by David's personal description of items on the menu to his friendly welcome. A great range of choices, outstanding friendly but not smothering service and every dish lived up to the reputation of DK. We will definitely return. Highly recommended!
