“The Best meal I've had in Chiangmai”
Yes, the food does take an age to arrive, and the place is plagued by mosquito's (I just don't understand why, given the mosquito problem in Thailand, restaurants and hotels continue to have pools of stagnant water in their establishments! They act as breeding ground of mossies!). But, leaving those gripes aside, the food is absolutely superb! So tasty as well as fresh and super healthy. I LOVE this place!!
“tasted all the same”
We came for dining at the tea house and expected nice vegetarian food, the food was good but sadly tasted all like sesame paste (tahini) and miso. Maybe our choices weren t the right one but, we were 8 poeple so we tasted quite a lot of dishes, and no one was more than average.
“Amazing food and worth to wait for!”
Tianzi Tea House is one of my favorite places in Chiang Mai. Their food is intelligently combined (macrobiotic), prepared absolutely fresh with as many organic ingredients as possible.
It might take a little bit longer until you get your food but it's worth it to wait for every single minute. See, they prepare everything fresh, it's slow food.
The taste is amazing, they don't use too many spices (again, it's macrobiotic and a HEALTH food place). My favorite dishes are:
Soba noodles in Sesame cream sauce
Steamed Vegetables with dip sauce
They also serve delicious organic kombucha and other kinds of tea.
