La Cocina de Tita Moning Restaurant Malacanang Complex. Don't just go on a date, take your date back in time to 1939 and have a fine dining meal at the Legarda ancestral home that has remained intact even after World War 2. The home of Alejandro Roces Legarda and Ramona Hernandez Legarda "Tita Moning" is since 2005 a family museum, restaurant and venue for private occasions. Expect old world charm and impeccable service in era that has been almost forgotten. The experience is atmospheric and a must do in Manila which will compensate for the lackluster set meal aside because the dishes were not remarkable aside from the large quantity of food. Set Menus start at PHP 1,400++ ($US 32.50) per person. Currently owned and managed by the grand daughter of Tita Moning, Suzette Montinola.
La Cocina de Tita Moning is only open by reservations so please call them at +632 734 2146.
