“What a Gem!!”

We visited Albufeira in October last year and every evening on our way into town we walked past this place it was not until the day before we were due to fly home i read the reviews on the restaurant on tripadvisor and we decided we had to give it ago before we left and i was so glad we did the food was the best we had eaten the whole time we had been there. We had a mixed starter for 4 which was to die for we thought there was a lot but we soon managed to clear our plates i would absolutely recommend you to try it. We all then had different mains which again where just simply delicious. It does not look like much from the outside but don't let that put you off. I would like to say the manager was in serving as it was end of season so some staff where already on there winter break and his and the staff left customer service was fantastic they were all really polite and lovely, which was very refreshing as we had found that customer service was lacking in most places in the town which disappointed us as we had visited in 2009 and had a great time but things seem to have changed. So if your looking for a great meal with great customer service on the quiet side of town give it ago you wont be sorry!!

“Don't be put off the shop front”

Wouldn't normally eat in an Indian restaurant when abroad - usually disappointing and prefer local food, however it was really quite nice! Sell Cobra by the bottle (6 euros for a large bottle - if i remember correctly). Poppadoms and dips a bit disappointing - but from there on in it was really very good. Staff friendly and a reasonable bill - so all good!

“A Jewel not to be missed.”

On a recent holiday in Albufeira we visited the Indian Ocean. Indian food is my favourite and I was not disappointed. The spices used were fresh and the elegance of the flavours was a real treat. The meal we had was so good we returned a second time, two nights later. The service was excellent and friendly. I can not recommend the restaurant highly enough.
