“Passing parade”

My third trip to Chiang Mai in the past three months, and after my Sunday walk I was in great need of a cold beer and I chanced on Archers. Full marks for the ice cold beer. I had a small snack, Cant comment on the food, but very pleasant, and an interesting owner. There was certainly a passing parade.

“Nothing Fancy, But Good”

I went here two or three years ago and was deeply unimpressed, thus avoided it for a long time. Meeting friends there the other week, and having been back a few times since on our own, either Archers have got their act together or I've got less fussy; perhaps a bit of both.

This is a typical shop house restaurant, open to the street, no fancy lighting, etc. The food however is very good, freshly prepared and reasonably priced - local Thai restaurants are cheaper of course. Both Thai and western food is available and a surprisingly good range of beers and ciders. Well worth dropping into if you are in the area.

“Our favourite restaurant in Chiang Mai”

Me and my two girl friends came across this restaurant in Chiang Mai and it is our favourite restaurant.

The menu says that all the pictures on the menu are of the actual food. And it all looked delicious! In the last two days we have had dinner, breakfast and lunch! It is cheap, healthy and delicious. They even do sunday roast!!

All the staff are lovely and so welcoming and speak very good english.

Definitely worth a visit whilst in Chiang mai !!! Xxx
