Loved the atmosphere, the wine list was terrific and Andy, the restaurant manager, met us like we were old time firends. Our waitress, Phan, was delightful and offered us insight into 2 of the temples we wanted to visit - Wat ram Poeng and Wat Umong. WELL WORTH A VISIT TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!
“Fine Dining in Chiang Mai”
After several days in Thailand, I was craving a fine dining experience. It was very difficult to locate fine dining options in Chiang Mai and Favola fits the bill perfectly. It was so good that we dined here on two nights during our stay in Chiang Mai.
The food was delicious but the service sets this restaurant apart. Andy was excellent - professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable regarding the wine selections. Andy made such a great first impression that we decided to dine here on a second night during our stay. When Andy saw us on our second visit, he greeted us just as warmly as our first visit and made us feel very welcome and appreciated.
If you're searching for a fine dining option in Chiang Mai, this is your restaurant.
“A great evening,thank you”
We have just returned from a wonderful experience at Favola. Chiang Mai is so fortunate to have a restaurant of this caliber so please fellow travellers and residents we hope you take note of our sincere review.
We spend some time in Chiang Mai during the year and have eaten at all kinds of restaurants. We love food and wine and are always looking new experiences. We are widely travelled and appreciate
Andreas and his team's efforts to offer an excellent culinary experience. They clearly work passionately together to produce a quality experience based on food and wine knowledge, top quality ingredients and excellent service.
The particular cuisine we enjoyed was Sicilian and we loved the marriage of the food and wine. Sicilian wine is sometimes difficult to source being that the wineries are small and family produced. We loved the wines on offer with the promotion as they were a perfect complement to our meal. The fresh seafood, the Royal Project's pheasant stuffed tortellini was brilliant. We also loved the selection of Italian cheeses.....just another excuse really to continue with another glass of Sicilian red...
Thank you Andy and your team for a great night.
